Cracked phone

I have cracked my Android phone screen, and when I take the back cover off, it's also so cracked in the rim on the side behind the cover, that the phone won't even turn on at all, and the phone is also a little bent.

Poor quality replacement screen

I had a screen repaired and the color was very desaturated compared to my original Apple screen and the pagination movement was jerky. After the cost of repair + tax and a measly 10% tip, the price is within a couple dollars of an Apple store repair. Better to get it done there for the flat $149 fee and get a good retina screen. The iCracked technician charged me $40+tax for the labor and now I will head over to the Apple store to pay an additional $149 for a quality repair..... So I'm out almost $200 and a couple hours of wasted time for this experience.

Clearly you have no idea what you’re talking about. iPhone screens are not retina, even those supplies by the manufacturer (which are also actually third party)

Never showed up, no indapent techs avalabe 3 times

made 3 appointments with icracked they never showed up or called. They now tell me they have no techs in the area I am 25 miles from Philadelphia Pa, 32 Miles From Baltimore Md and 38 Miles from Washington DC. They can not provide you with service so dont waste your time find a local brick and motor store. They are not even based in the US according to there supervisor I just spoke with.

Based on your inability to spell nor use the English language in any proper regard, it’s not a surprise you had difficulty setting up a simple phone repair not to mention any type of appointment in society. That’s too bad. Have fun at your next ‘brick and motor’ location lowlife

I scheduled a repair early in the morning. Not until I called customer service. Did they say that they did not have the parts for my phone. No one called me back after they gave me a few phone numbers for technicians. Waste of time. I was told technicians work their own schedule. Stupid answer. They were probably at a bar or chit chatting with their last customer. Worthless company and they are biased to who they help.

Tech came at appointment time to replace cracked iPhone screen. Had to leave after 45 min to get a new screen as the first one was defective. Returned, placed screen and seemed to be working. After a few hours ghosting and kept freezing. Emailing to customer service for a day to get tech back out. Could not get a response for hours by any one the next morning so finally took in to a brick n mortar for repair. They said you should never use come to your home repair! I got ripped off for $119.

booked appointment online, got confirmation of a 3:30 time slot, and then at 2:30 they cancelled the appointment saying no techs to fix my phone. I will go else where and not wait on them again. :(

Since this site is about the negative, I thought I'd inject a little positive truth. So far in the last two years I have used them to replace 2 phone screens and an ipad screen. All quick, positive and good experiences. This time, as before, the icracked! tech kept me posted on his estimated arrival time, got here early and replaced my iphone screen in about 15 minutes. He then explained a few options for better covers and how the tempered glass protector worked and should be cleaned. Shortly after, he walked away with a good tip. This is a good company that seems to be well run by a young group of energetic start up types. I was a start up 25 years ago, so appreciate their efforts!

Made an appointment with iCracked online because of a cracked iPhone screen. Confirmed via text. Service guy got to my house, seemed really confused in my driveway searching through boxes of screens to get the right one. He came upstairs, told me there was a glitch in their system and asked me to sign off saying not only my screen was cracked but also my home and mute button too (it wasn't). This made me nervous. Then he told me it would take like 30 minutes. Two hours later and several reboots and my phone was completely broken. I could not get past the home screen, the home button didn't work and I had to go to Apple to fix. Apple said it was a total *** job. DO NOT USE these people.

i was thinking of getting i cracked to fix my phone. i only read the negative comments due to the positive comments speaks of what a company is hired to do in the first place.

It’s all about checking the tech before you let them touch your phone. I worked with them for a few years, we don’t make much $ per repair but we are personally responsible for any additional damage we cause but iCracked onboardee a lot of zero experience people a few years ago. That really hurt everyone.

Last year contacted iCrack for a cracked screen. Took it to their Techs home (Rosalind Davis, Milwaukee Wi. 414 377 **** ). Dropped Ipad off. Thirty min. latter received a request from iCrack on how the service was. I responded on their review excellent. Picked unit up two days latter, asked Rosalind to fire unit up before I leave. She hesitated. Finally she tried to boot it up. It start up then immediately shut off. It continued to cycle off and on. She fussed with it for awhile then said she could not help me. I contacted iCrack, filled out warranty request. That was last Nov. they never contact me back. Kept trying and got response Feb. 21. Have been communicating and their last response was that they contacted Rosalind and she claims that it was a software problem. They don't warrant software problems. The Ipad worked up to the moment I gave it to Rosalind. I used the GPS to find her house. Screwed for $125 repair, 2 months service with AT&T for internet service that I could not use because of Rosalind messing it up ($76). Purchase of a new unit for replacement $519. 135 miles to drop off unit at Rosalinds. 135 miles to pick-up unit at Rosalinds. I live 67 miles north from Milwaukee in the country.

Lost a lot of money over this whole issue with icracked. Dragged it on until just two weeks ago.

They were going to resolve the issue by replacing my iPad which they did. They replaced it with another iPad from their supplier on the East Coast. The iPad would not even startup. Found out later they sent me a faulty iPad that did not even have a battery in it.

Wanted me to work with them to fix it. This outfit is nothing but a scam. They finally sent a little over $200 into my account. I am still out.

$2,000 because of all the issues involved in the past year. Their techs are only taught to change out the screens so they end up messing up a lot of units.

They do not pay any sales tax nor do they pay any income tax. I hope Uncle Sam gets on their case.

It’s a Scam

Scheduled a visit to get my screen repaired. Get my phone back and it looks great, despite the home button is sticking up past the screen a few extra millimeters... for about a day. All of a sudden my phone is clicking links and buttons for me and zooming in and out without my help. There’s also dead spots everywhere. Reached out to warranty claims dept and set up appointment #2, which was at the tech’s shop, 30 mins away from me. So there I was wasting my own time and money on gas driving 30 mins out of my way with a useless phone on a Saturday after finishing up an 80 hour work week, when this company’s whole sales pitch is “we’ll come to you” only to arrive and have the guy tell me there’s nothing he can do but sell me a brand new screen and screen protector. Seems fishy. I then reach out to their claims dept again, simply asking for a refund, which got denied. At which point I used some very colorful language and told them what I thought of their crooked company. From one business to another, this is not how you treat customers, we will exhaust all other services before using them again. So unless you want a cheaply made aftermarket screen, that isn’t even constructed of oem materials, just go to apple! They’re a heck of a lot nicer group of people to deal with.

I purchased a new screen from icracked.com for my iphone6 and replaced the screen myself. At first, I was quite impressed. The replacement went smoothly. That was the end of February. But, I do not think the quality of the glass was good. The glass did not last more than three months. When it broke, it shattered and my phone was damaged. The whole bottom third of the phone was malfunctioning. I had to replace the phone thereafter. I was disappointed that all that time replacing the screen and the investment in the new glass did not last longer than three months. I would not purchase another screen from icracked.com and I would not recommend the product to my friends based upon my current experience.

I thought I was getting a great deal and having someone come out to me was a time saver to get the glass replaced on my iPhone 7. So the tech arrived and it took him almost 2 hours to replace the glass on my iPhone 7. He could not take the old one off and struggled and struggled with it. Finally, he got it off and had trouble putting the new one on also. He also did not have the promised new screen protector for the phone and was supposed to stop by the next day and drop off...THAT NEVER HAPPENED. What did happen?? I noticed a small white dot that now shows up on light colored background screens that was not there before and a couple of hours after that, my phone starts freaking out and randomly opening apps and screens all on its own. Calling Apple, they say it seems to be a touch sensor problem. HMMMMMM didn't have that problem either before iCracked fixed my phone. So I texted the tech and told him what was happening but did he answer?? NO!!! So I tried contacting iCrack with regards to their warranty. What a mess that is. They tell you to send pictures of the phone glass and frame to determine if they will cover it. WTF??!! Uh hello, you are just supposed to make the customer satisfied and honor your warranty agreement, not try to make a determination whether its a covered repair or not. After a week of back and forth emails I told them I was just taking the phone to Apple and that their warranty was worthless. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE NEEDING A PHONE FIX!!!

Beware of iCracked

The iTech technician who came to fix my Iphone screen did not do the job correct. Within 4 days the screen started showing lines. I took my phone today to the apple service and they said my phone frame was tampered. This was done by the ITech guy. After he damaged the frame he is telling that the phone was already damaged. I am very unsatisfied with the iTech. I would not recommend iCracked to any one. This is one bad experience I got. iCracked does not recruit a good iTech guy to do the job. I already spent around $90 dollars on my iPhone and now I am not able to use my cellphone. I am literally screwed up by iCracked.

CHRIS APPEL - DO NOT USE HIM HE TOOK 3 HOURS TO FIX MY PHONE HE THEN TOLD ME THAT HE WAS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE HOME BUTTON, THEN HE TOLD ME HE FIXED IT. HE THEN BROUGHT MY PHONE (HE FIXED IT IN HIS CAR, AND REFUSED TO DO INSIDE). SHOWED ME THE RECEIPT, I PAYED. MY phone ran out of battery and I said let me go put it in the charger to make sure everything is working correctly. he then said "don't worry I already did so before the power turned off", I said no let me double check, he said "don't worry I am telling you it works". I then brought my phone in put it in the charger, the power button wasn't working neither was my home button. my phone wouldn't turn on for an hour. I then got it on and non of my buttons were working, my messages were all deleted I then tried to call the tech back, he blocked me and all my family members. I got scammed by this stupid cracked business. please don't use this service it will do you no good. they also put a *** screen that looks like its worth 5 bucks. also icracked doesn't pick up the phone, they don't answer emails.

Stop screaming with the all capital letter format. It is annoying and difficult to read.Offensive also is your toilet mouth ; QUOTE : " a *** screen " . I'm glad your precious phone has failed and happy for people who don't have to take your calls and listen to your filthy toilet mouth.
